What does the Pre-Masters Internship offer?
A structured opportunity to engage with and be exposed to a clinical academic research environment and develop skills in evidence based practice. The scheme is aimed at those who wish to become research champions and consider a future clinical academic career including formal research training such as a Masters in Clinical Research. These highly competitive awards are free to successful applicants and offer 48 days of protected study time over 9 months including formal online distance learning and face to face meetings.

• 10 days of formal face to face learning and action learning sets and 38 days of independent study time to be taken flexibly over 9 months.

• Completion of a 20 credit Masters level module

• A payment of £7,500 to the applicant’s employing organisation towards the cost of salary backfill costs, travel and training.
